Vicki

It was a joy knowing you Vicki
You were one of the best neighbor there could be

I would cry to you and complain
Then make sure your gutters worked in the rain

We would sit on the porch and talk
When you were healthy or when you could barely walk

You saw me grow over the years
While honestly responding to my questions and fears

You always had a smile for us even when you were down
You still enjoyed dressing up and going out on the town.

You mentored, you questioned, you prompted and more
You were honest admitting you hated the color of my door

You treated us with gifts, your treated us with food
You were always good in a pinch, when I didn’t know what to do

I will miss you my friend, I will miss you a great deal
The best thing you taught me, was to “just keep it real”
I Love you
