On the way to work

I know I have mentioned several times that I am blessed to live in a vacation spot. In any given day I can see such beauties and yet, I see such sadness too. It doesn’t matter if I am riding my bike or driving my car, i am constantly hit with these dualities.

Just driving to work I will pass vineyards with hot air balloons flying overhead. As well as homeless people or graffiti.

Here are some examples of this. I took these pictures just driving to work yesterday morning.

I was stuck at a light and looked out my drivers side window and saw this. I wanted to get out of my car and go exploring so bad. ” forget work! Who knows what’s at the end of this?”

Then I saw this poor, jacked up car. As if the broken back end laying all over the ground wasn’t bad enough, now it’s been tagged and has a ticket. Could it get any worse for this old Caddy?

Then I saw this, and even though I was driving 65mph on the freeway I had to get a shot of it.

It’s moments like these that make me remember how beautiful life is. I’m lucky to be able to enjoy it when I can. I hope you saw something beautiful today.
